What a challenge! Listening to your body is one of the goals of every metabolic balancer. If you are eating and are not used to listening to your body, stop half way through your meal and gauge how you feel according to this chart. If you have reached level 5 stop eating. If you still feel an urge to eat, take a few more bites and pause until you have reached level 5. If you tend to eat until you have reached level 6 – 10, your hunger is more emotional than real and you need to have a chat with your metabolic balance coach.
The more you practice using this chart to gauge your hunger, the more you will realise when your body is actually hungry and when you are using food to “fill”a different kind of hunger.
