Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants that have the scent of the plant they are isolated from. Commonly used in aromatherapy and alternative medicine, these oils can easily be used at home to support your health and overall well-being. They can be used to manage stress and anxiety, improve sleep, decrease inflammation, and help with headaches and migraines. Although not meant for ingestion, essential oils can be applied directly to skin, used in a diffuser or bath, or during a massage.
